HESD, Rio+20 and beyond

UNESCO Chairs in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) from Costa Rica, Germany and Sweden gathered on 4 October 2012 to discuss the outcomes and follow-up of the recent UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20)regarding ESD and higher education.

This meeting aims at sharing good ESD practices, investigating how universities could contribute to promoting sustainable development and, discussing the contribution of higher education to the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development until 2014 and beyond.
