Student-run Green Office in University of Gothenburg

Anna Simmons and Tora Wilhelmsson are students at respectively the School of Business, Economics and Law and the School of Global Studies (both at the University of Gothenburg). Alongside their studies, they will be working with sustainability issues at the University in the new Green Office.

Over the coming academic year, Anna and Tora will be starting up Gothenburg’s first so-called Green Office. Working from a sustainability perspective, they will be involved with, amongst other things, education issues, procurement and support for student initiatives. The idea is that they should bring a student perspective to the University’s ongoing environmental and sustainability initiatives.
