SDG 14 - Cluster members launch Norway-Pacific Ocean-Climate Scholarship Programme (N-POC)

Two IAU Cluster members have just announced a new partnership for sustainable development : the Norway-Pacific Ocean-Climate Scholarship Programme (N-POC)

On 28 April 2020, University of Bergen (SDG 14 Cluster Lead) and long-term partner the University of the South Pacific (SDG 14 Cluster satellite) have launched a new partnership in ocean and climate science: the Norway-Pacific Ocean-Climate Scholarship Programme (N-POC). The programme is funded by Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).

N-POC is a groundbreaking new and interdisciplinary PhD programme in ocean and climate science, in a collaboration between Norway and the Pacific Islands.
