Located in Canada, in the Province of Quebec, the Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) is a French-speaking institution that offers the opportunity to benefit from an academic education that is recognized and valued around the world.
The Université de Sherbrooke is host to more than 31 715 students, and another 5 966 who are registered at the University of the Third Age.
Currently, more than 2 597 foreign students from 104 countries worldwide attend the Université de Sherbrooke. More than 85 % of the students enrolled are from outside Sherbrooke.
The Université de Sherbrooke has been welcoming international students ever since it was founded and each year the numbers increase.
There are 7 878 employees at the UdeS, including 4 127 professors, lecturers, and clinical professors at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The Université de Sherbrooke has three campuses offering an enviable and sought after environment:
- The Main Campus includes most of the faculties and centers, the management of the institution and the support services.
- The Health Campus, also located in Sherbrooke, houses the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and several partners in the field of biomedical research and clinical intervention.
- The Longueuil Campus in Montérégie offers all the material and logistical support required for the hundred or so programs offered.
