About
ISTOM, École Supérieure d'Agro-Développement International, is a state-recognized private higher education institution in France organized as a non-profit organization. Founded in Le Havre in 1908, it moved to Cergy-Pontoise, France in 1991 and finally settled in Angers, France in 2018. The institution aims to address a wide range of issues related to global environmental, agricultural and food challenges and trains agri-development engineers who specialize and who are committed to agricultural, economic and human development and to the ecological transition on a global scale, with a particular focus on southern countries. Within the domain of agricultural and human development, students are trained in the sectors of agricultural production (animal and plant), agri-food industries, development services and institutions, development engineering, and environmental management.
