Mission

Federal Polytechnic Oko is an institution of higherlearning specially instituted for technical courses owned by the federal government of Nigeria.

We embark on research projects and technological development in the field of pure sciences, technology, engineering, environmental sciences, social sciences and humanities.

In our quest to accommodate the environmental, technological and socio-economic need of our immediate environment, with a view of ensuring development that is sustainable, we have established:

• a renewble energy research institute,
• a continuing education programme,
• a enterpreneurship institute,
• a confiscus institute,
• a technical vocational education training institute (TVET)
• a skill acquisition apprenticeship scheme.
