Virtual University of Environment and Sustainable Development

As part of the worldwide movement of the accessibility to digital academic teaching materials, the Virtual University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UVED), one of the eight French thematic digital universities, promotes free access to knowledge, education and the dissemination of knowledge and training resources to various actors in the field of environment and sustainable development by providing users digital teaching resources and training tools of high scientific, technical and pedagogical value.

Beyond this mission and in order to better respond to societal needs in terms of furthering education and lifelong learning, the UVED creates and coordinates multi-institutional, multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary MOOCs to tackle major societal challenges related to the environment and sustainable development.

UVED offers courses in French but also English and other languages. In 2021, they launched their new learning platform which can be accessed here: https://moodle.uved.fr
