Mission

Created in 1989, the mission of the university is to build:

1. A cultural and educational project inspired mainly by the local, regional and national contexts.

2. A proposal to develop the environment.

3. An open initiative incorporated into the community and an active member in its progress.

Vision

To be an answer to the concrete demands of the local community; a model of excellence in the university system and a point of reference for the study centers at an international level.
