Sustainability @ University of Granada

Since its foundation in 1531, the University of Granada has been growing in close symbiosis with society.Today, it has become a benchmark for the quality of its teaching and research and its university extension activities, with special emphasis on cooperation and development actions.

The different campuses are scattered throughout the city's geography: Aynadamar, Cartuja, Fuentenueva and Centro, which are joined by heritage and historical buildings scattered in the most unique districts of Granada. In addition, the University has centres located in the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla which complete the varied panorama of the University.

The institution combines the rich experience of its long tradition with the dynamism and youthfulness of its almost 60,000 undergraduate students, who join the ranks of those who pursue postgraduate studies and complementary teaching and raise the figure to 80,000 students. Thus, the University of Granada is the Spanish university that receives the most students from international mobility programmes.
