PERSPECTIVES FROM THE IAU SDG 3 SUBCLUSTER

Tuesday, 27 October 2020 | 2:30pm - 4:00pm CEST (Paris time)

The current global health emergency is essentially leading to a collective awakening of the need to rethink our economic and health system towards a more sustainable one, adapted to our century’s challenges. Higher education institutions have a pivotal role to play as educators of the health workers of today and tomorrow. However, how health is taught in higher education will need to radically transform, both in format and content to meet these challenges. To contribute to the conversation, The IAU Global Cluster on SDG 3 wishes to hold an open discussion and debate on the future of how Health should be taught in higher education in a post Covid-19 context. It will bring together experts from all continents to share their views on the current context and a vision for a more sustainable future.
