Climate Action & Quality Education Research Featured in new UNU Publication and Video
Higher Education is a driving force leading 53% of RCE projects for Climate Action! UNU-IAS just published a video on the RCE network and inspiring examples of projects for SDGs & quality education during the GAP programme (2015-19)!
A new video by the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainably (UNU-IAS) provides an overview of approximately 140 projects contributing to climate action and quality education. The projects were conducted by the Regional Centres of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCEs), an initiative of the UNU-IAS project Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), during the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD from 2015-2019.

Furthermore, a UNU-IAS publicatioin showcases outstanding climate education projects implemented by the Regional Centres of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCEs). Released on 27 April 2021, Tackling Climate Action at the Local Level: Education for Sustainable Development Projects from the Global RCE Network highlights the contributions that RCEs have made — with a focus on climate action — to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education at local and regional levels, during the period of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD from 2015-2019.
