Around the world, today is #earthday Events and initiatives celebrate our planet and call for a more sustainable future

IAU and IAU Members are using this occasion to reflect on the importance of our planet and how we can take action to preserve its biodiversity, but also ensure a sustainable and just future for all, by stressing the importance of the Agenda 2030 and SDGs as a roadmap, even in times of disruption and the global COVID-19 pandemic.
