Earth Day 2021

As the world returns to normal, we can't go back to business as usual. Time for Higher Education to also take action for the planet.

From April 20-22, join the world’s leaders for Earth Day 2021. Together, we can prevent the coming disasters of climate change and environmental destruction.

Organized as 3 days of climate action, the theme of this year's Earth Day is "Restore Our Earth".

It will begin on April 20 with a global youth climate summit led by Earth Uprising, consisting of panels, speeches, discussions, and special messages with today’s youth climate activists including Greta Thunberg, Alexandria Villaseñor, and Licypriya Kangujam.

On April 21, Education International will lead the “Teach for the Planet: Global Education Summit.” It will feature prominent activists from every continent, focused on the crucial role that educators play in combating climate change and why we need transformative climate education now.

Finally on April 22, EARTHDAY.ORG will have its second Earth Day Live digital event, focusing on "Restore Our Earth".

World climate leaders, grassroots activists, nonprofit innovators, thought leaders, industry leaders, artists, musicians, influencers, and the leaders of tomorrow will come to push us towards a better world
